... to be by my side.

I recently heard this song through a link shared on my Facebook wall. Ever since that fated day, I don't really watch proposal or wedding videos of some sort. If you're my friend, you'll know why. But I got curious with this video shared by a friend on his facebook timeline.

The video is about a guy who go through different proposals for his girlfriend. And when you get to see what the guy is doing, you might want to wish that someone will do those things to you too (just like me!). What I like about the video is that the guy did those various ways to propose to his girl (just like other videos you see on YT). It was fun watching the guy doing everything that he can just to send the message across to the girl. But what I love most is that he included his and her girlfriend's family  in the proposal he made. Pure sweetness!

This is the description of the video on YouTube:
On April 13th I proposed to my girlfriend Emily at the restaurant where we had our first date. I told her I was running late, had the restaurant opened just for her, and set up hidden cameras all around her. When she sat down at the table, there was a TV in front of her set to take her on a journey that would lead to the proposal of a lifetime. This is what happened...
The video:

I had fun watching! Did you? :D

And the song (in the last part) played in the video is what I've been listening to YouTube for days now. The lyrics touch my heart. Oh, how I wish... I'm just wishful thinking here (so much for a hopeless romantic).

Here goes the song:

It is a lyric video so there is no need for me to post the lyrics. :)

What do you think of the song? Please leave a comment if you like it!

I first heard of this song when I was in my first year of college. Thanks to my brother who listens to the song every morning during that time. Whenever I listen to it (until now), somehow it gives me the feeling of having 'a brand new day'. In spite of the not-so-good things that is happening to our lives, there is still hope for another good day to come.

Halika na pumikit limutin ang problema
Hihintayin ang umaga
Magpahinga, panaginip ang ikaliligaya
Darating din ang umaga

[Chorus]
Basta't tayo'y magkasama
Laging mayroong umagang kay ganda
Pagsikat ng araw
May dalang liwanag
Sa ating pangarap, ooh
Haharapin natin

[repeat Chorus]

Haharapin natin
[repeat Chorus except last line]

*Lyrics is from Lyrics Mode

And the lyric video that I have found in YouTube:

Do you know what the picture above is all about? Have you tasted Krispy Kreme doughnuts? Yes, Kagayanons?

Well, probably you are of those who always asked loved ones, friends or relatives for pasalubong whenever they are in Manila or Cebu. I can say that I am one of those people. LOL!

This month, some of CDO Bloggers Inc. members got an opportunity to meet with their Marketing Manager, Mr. Mark Gamboa and Assistant Marketing Manager for VisMin, Ms. Nadia Shami in a blogger's conference at Bigby's Cafe and Restaurant. It will be the 44th store in the country and 5th drive-thru in Asia. The newest branch will be located at Rosario Arcade just beside McDonald's.

When I entered the world of blogging, I didn't expect that it will opened me to many things. Earning online, learning more about blogging and other stuffs, and most importantly - gaining friends. As a member of a blogging community here in Cagayan de Oro City, it helped me a lot even on personal things. I have been wanting to write way back in high school but somehow not one opportunity came or simply because I shy away on things that I thought I couldn't do. Clearly, I am not a writer. I just want to write.

Annually, there had been writing projects for bloggers that aims to express their thoughts, share knowledge to everyone, and many more reasons. I want to nominate a few blogs for Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2013 and here they are:

This blog is owned by Ems, a great woman from Cagayan de Oro City. She is a mom to two wonderful boys and works from home. In her blog, she shares her passion in life, her beliefs, parenting and all of the other topics that relates to being a woman and a mom.

I believe this deserves to be on my list since I am an online worker. A lot of people will be inform because of the knowledge it shares.

TereSay
I came to know about this blog from a blogger friend. I am curious because she blog about many things including advocacy, education, and a lot more. A big percentage goes to the Education category as I am currently on my way to teaching (I am enrolled with an 18 units to get a Certificate of Teaching).

FilipiKnow
I have came across blogs that features interesting stuffs but this is more special. Why? Because they post about all fascinating things here in our country. Isn't that amazing? A blog dedicated to our country, its history and other information that will feed your mind and your children too.

Through this blog, I get to see the Korean culture here online.

Social Media PH
This is owned by a social media enthusiast which shared many information that  she learned on the world of social media by doing research and in-depth analysis.

A Non Techie Mom Blog
This blog is owned by a stay-at-home mom and surviving the world of technology.

Sarap Pinoy
I love food so I love browsing and reading food blogs. I love it but at the same time I don't because it makes me salivate over those delicious pictures. Lol!

Business What Ifs
The blogger creatively made a blog for those people who like to have a business but have a short time span on reading the how-tos, strategies, and all about those technicalities for making a business which makes it right for me to read and create ideas for future business.

The Faces
This blog talks about different people in with different personalities.

These are some of the blogs that I have considered on my list. I'll add some more on this list soon. How about you? Have you made a list of your Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for the year 2013?

Every weekend, this reality show on Philippine TV has been trending over the country. And every time I watch the show, it dawned on me. Someone is also trending inside of my heart. This may sound OA (over acting) as someone puts it. But, who cares right?

Music. I simply love music. It ran right through my veins. So, I thought of putting another song in my blog. Well, this song reminded me much of someone from the reality television singing competition. The one that is trending in my heart (chos!). Every time it is played (replay button is overly clicked), I always see him singing this song in my mind. I just wish someday that he'll gonna sing this one.

The Question: Are you gonna give all your secrets away?

(Image from Wikipedia)
The Song:

Secrets from OneRepublic. (This video is not mine. I just got it from YouTube and chose the one with lyrics so you can sing with it while the video plays.)

This song was sang by one of those aspiring artist, John Philip Duka, who joined the Voice of the Philippines. He is a DJ (disc jockey) from a local station in Davao City. During his free time, he is doing gigs for an alternative rock band in the city.

Bamboo, please sing this song for me someday! <3

Every anime fan must have heard and go ga-ga about Rorouni Kenshin's movie showing on SM Cinema all over the Philippines. I am a bit one of those who went an hour travel on the first day of showing but didn't had a chance to lay my eyes on Himura Kenshin (Takeru Sato). But no fret, I've seen him already (in the movie) and would probably will see him again in my dreams (hehe..).

The movie is awesome from the production, soundtrack and by choosing the best Himura Kenshin portrayal from the anime series. A double thumbs up for the movie and the people behind it! (We all hope for a part 2 of it.)

This video below is one of their soundtrack. Thanks to the uploader for inserting movie clips so it is worth the watch. Have fun and enjoy Kenshin's moves! :D

Just give me a reason
To keep my heart beating
Don’t worry it’s safe right here in my arms
As the world falls apart around us
All we can do is hold on, hold on

Take my hand
And bring me back

I risk everything if it’s for you
I whisper into the night
Telling me it’s not my time and don’t give up
I’ve never stood up before this time
Demo yuzurenai mono itta kono te wo hanasanai

So stand up, stand up (Just gotta keep on running)
Wake up, wake up (Just tell me how I can)
Never give up
Kuru wa shimi hodo setsunai

Just tell me why baby
They might call me crazy
For saying I’d fight until there is no more
Fureri wo fukunda senkougankou wa kankakiteki shoudou
Blinded, I can’t see the end
So where do I begin?

Say another word, I can't hear you
The silence between us
Nanimo nai you ni utsuteru dake
I take this chance that I make you mine
Tada kakusenai mono kattate yori misekakete

So stand up, stand up (Just gotta keep on running)
Wake up, wake up (Just tell me how I can)
Never give up
Kanashimi to setsunasa

Just give me a reason
To keep my heart beating
Don’t worry it’s safe right here in my arms
Kudaketenaide saite jita kono omoi wa
So blinded I can’t see the end

Look how far we made it
The pain i can’t escape it
Kono mamajya mada owarase koto wa dekinai deshou
Nando kutabarisou demo kuchi hateyou tomo owariwanaisa
So where do I begin?

Nigirishimeta ushinawanu youni to
Te wo hirogereba koboreochisou de
Ushinau mono nado nakatta hibino dasei wo sutete kimi wo

Just tell me why baby
They might call me crazy
For saying I’d fight until there is no more
Fureri ukanda senkougankou wa kangakiteki shoudou

Look how far we made it
The pain i can’t escape it

It finally begins..

Who loves New Wave songs?

The band was formed on the year 1980. Yes, that's right. They are now 22 years old. Two Minds Crack is a New Wave band from Wales. They are known for their singles "The Hunger and The Greed" and "Cry Cry Cry".

The song below has been one of my personal favorites ever since I have heard this on my sister's playlist. It's an 80's song (yes I know, Lol!) and I've grown up in the 90's music. But I have appreciated much their music just like Fra Lippo Lippi, Wilson Phillips and others.

And this song turns my whole world Upside Down...

One of my favorite singers of all time is back with a new song. I was in grade school days when she was at her renowned era. Oh, how I missed her songs and the way she makes melodious sounds. Here goes... Let's give it up for Alanis Morisette with her new song, Guardian. :)

What do you think on the content of the song? Is it of substance?

Husband and wife, Raymart and Claudine Baretto-Santiago involves a fistfight with newspaper columnist Ramon 'Mon' Tulfo at NAIA 3 Terminal on Sunday (May 6, 2012). According to the reports, the fight started when Claudine berated a flight attendant when she found out that her luggage is missing. A couple's friend said that someone took a video of Claudine then Raymart confronted the man (Tulfo). The fight began when someone punches other one or vice versa. It is still on investigation if who started the fight. As a result of this fight, Claudine got a bruise on her leg. Tulfo said that he did not mean to kick Claudine and told that he was outnumbered. Claudine, on the other hand, appeals that the Airport security will release the CCTV so that it will be clear to everyone if who really started this brawl.

The couple and their children arrived from Boracay while Mon is from Davao.

Here's the video of the said fistfight.

After being inactive for months, I planned to check my Unionbank Eon account online. After I logging in, they redirect me to enter my transaction password. It was way beyond 90 days and my password was expired. So what I did was go to the website of Unionbank and search for the e-mail address of their customer service. While browsing the site, I saw that there is a domestic toll fee for PLDT subscribers. I decided to call... An answering machine answered the call then gave me menu instructions to what and where to go. Since, this is an Eon related service, I press number 3. This is what happened...

First, the customer care asks for your account name and number. Next, she then proceeded to ask for verification data like birthday, home address, phone number, mother's maiden name and e-mail address. After the verification process, the customer care then said to hold on the phone for a couple of seconds to file for a request in resetting the transaction password. She said to wait for 1 to 2 banking days to have the reset password procedure e-mailed to me.

The waiting starts.....

And after a few days, they sent me an email with the instructions on how to reset it. Thanks Unionbank for your service! :)

By the way, you can e-mail the Unionbank's customer service or call them at Domestic Toll Free at 1-800-1888-2277, using a PLDT landline. You can also call them at 84-186 (PLDT landline) or (02) 841-8600; Universal Toll Fee at IAC+800-8277-2273; Trunkline at (02) 667-6388.

The video below becomes viral when uploaded by a certain PrettyJenny55 on YouTube.  The transcription is also place here to understand more what Mo Twister is saying on the video.  I was shocked the first time to view this because I admire Rhian Ramos of her beauty and talent.  Well, just watch the video and let God be the judge on what happened to both of them.

Its 28th of July 2010, First time I'm doing this. I don't event know why. Um, Maybe one day you'll watch this. Just remember how horrible of a day it is. You're in Singapore, You've been crying all evening because tomorrow morning, You and Rhian will go to the hospital here and get rid our baby. It doesn't matter naman what I think about it because this was her choice. I don't know how long you'll keep this as a souvenir, but this is the test (Whisper) This is wrong. This is the hardest thing (Crying) This is the hardest thing you've gone through before and you've gone through so much. And we have to blame our jobs for this?

This industry that judges you for these things. This business has made her believe that we have to take the life of our own child because no one will forgive her for this. That this job will ruin her, so we agreed that we'd come here and get it done. Because you love her and you just want her to be okay. Its not like Rhian is having an easy time with this too. Its hard on all of us. She said one day we will see this again. And maybe our jobs will be a little bit easier and more accepting about it. One day you'll look at this video, 20 years from now, I don't even know if you will still be together and it will still hurt. It will still hurt like hell. (Crying) You'll be sorry for this your whole life. I'll be sorry for this my whole life. Im sorry for the bad choice we are about to make. Its hard for both of us.

Nobody wants to do this. I know other celebrities have been able to succeed after this problem, if it is even a problem, I don't know if it's a problem. But you know, her parents are tough on her. Her station, her channel, her manager is so tough on her that it has made her feel that having this baby, is just no other option. I know Rhian is young. Maybe one day when we're older, when she is older, that we won't have to go through this. I don't blame her. The pressure on her is so great. That I know she feels like she has no choice. So this is not your fault Rhian. Its not. I know how hard it is to be you in here, In this situation.

Its July 28, 2010 and I'm sitting inside the hotel. The Ritz-Carlton in Singapore and we've been fighting all night about this. I'm doing my best to try to kep you safe. And all this fighting is taking a toll on us. I wish we could have this child. I don't want to do this. This job is so difficult. Its so difficult. I'm so sorry. I'll be sorry forever. Again, one day you'll watch this. Maybe when you're an old man. You'll remember how difficult today was. And I hope you watch this and I hope by that time, I'll be married and I'll have a family that I can try to make it up to. You're going to do something really wrong today. I'm sorry for that. This is business is so so hard. This business is so hard on its employees. I guess all bussinesses are. I don't know. It's our fault I know. We can't really blame our jobs because other people did it. But um, I understand.

Here is the latest tweet of Mo Twister on this controversy:

'I know you all have so many questions about what happened. I can't give any clear answers right now because I too am wondering how it all got here. I know I sold many of my things including computers that I had erased. Apparently, someone "repaired" the erased files/hard drive and uploaded some personal files of mine. I feel terrible about it. I was supposed to leave for new york tomorrow but I'll stay until Monday, or later, in order to help clear or answer some of the questions, as well as investigate how someone may have retrieved my erased files. One thing is clear, I loved Rhian very much and what we went through traumatized me, as other recent incidents have. I've been getting professional help to cope with the loss but I have now decided to try to heal outside of the Philippines instead. I'm not sure how long that will be. In the meantime, please be patient with us. I'll stay as long as I can to help clear things. I appeal to whoever is in possession of my personal files to refrain from uploading anything further. I have spoken to my immediate supervisors and upon their advice, I will explain all of this on Sunday on Paparazzi, as it is the only venue I have that has a sizable reach to many of you. I'm sorry again.'

On Rhian Ramos' Home Network:

GMA Network is going to file charges against Mo Twister for malicious and false imputations against the network.
